How (or what’s up with Indian gaming casinos?)

I’m a big television watcher. I’m sure that says something about my level of intelligence, but that’s not what this entry is about.

Hay all you California TV watchers, am I the ONLY one that is so sick of the political ads for Props 94, 95, 96 and 97 either PRO or CON that they just don’t want to vote on the matter at all?

An excerpt from LA WEEKLY :

On February 5, voters will be asked to enact propositions 94, 95, 96 and 97, which would give an additional 17,000 slot machines to the Sycuan, Pechanga, Morongo and Agua Caliente tribes – 2,100 wealthy Southern Californians who control more than a third of the state’s Indian gaming industry but wouldn’t fill the seats of the Kodak Theatre.

Honestly, I don’t think Indians need more casinos. I don’t think California needs ANY casinos. Let’s leave that to Vegas and let’s spend our local gambling money on local businesses instead!

ENOUGH OF THE FREAKING ADS ALREADY!
