OY!

A year since my last “Hippo Birdies” (where I jumped into a pool full of fucking TAR).. So much has changed.. good AND bad. But damn, so much GOOD STUFF! My year didn’t exactly suck.. London/Ireland, Cruise to Alaska.. Saying goodbye to friends but then saying HELLO to them again.. This fickle thing called life.

LAST YEAR I thought that life sucked (and that I made it suck).. THIS YEAR I know that life is within MY control (dejavu!). It’s what you make of it. It’s what you DESIGN it to be. It’s what you COMMIT YOURSELF to make of it..

This is NOTHING more powerful in this world than COMMITMENT!!! (and that is NOT just Tony Robbins speak).

What _IS_ with all that “nickname” crap we gotta give bad guys we’re killing?

Chemical ALI? Genuflect, show some respect.. down on one knee.. Okay, maybe that’s a bit extreme, but damnit let’s just kill them and be quiet about it..

CNN spent over 1 hour so far talking about the destruction of the Sadaam statue.. Damnit! Destroy Sadaam and get the fuck outta there already!!! BTW, my apologies to Disney… I LIKE Alladin. I do NOT like nicknames like “Chemical ALI”….

We’re at war.. I’m so sad we are there.. but now that we ARE.. we might as well FINISH IT.. and FAST.. Let’s get our boys & girls home safe and not pussyfoot around… I support our troops (and my country), but I sure as hell don’t support our current president..

On to the topic of the hour (well, at least for me.. grin).

Some flaming …… decided that the logo that MY FRIEND made for our Defensefund site was HIS property so that he could effectively “shut down” the cafepress defense fund website. WE made that logo. WE made that website. Cafe Press decided they didn’t wanna be involved, and just shut the store down. He thinks he’s being cute.. Well, that will make the countersuit/monetary damages THAT MUCH MORE INTERESTING! (and of course I’ll NEVER NEVER EVER EVER give Cafepress a DIME of my money again, either directly or indirectly).

Life is good!… Things at work are so much more fun and positive. One of my favorite bitches is back in our family, we’re kicking some butt in sales and it all is starting to feel “real” again.. YAY!

At home… we got new wood floors and then painted each room a different colour. I sit in my new “home office” set up and I glow with joy. I feel like a Rockerfeller in this office (this desk alone would do the job!) and I will act out on that feeling!
Oh! HEY! Mike had a damned baby! I am SOOOOO Jealous!!! (we keep trying, but it ain’t happening.. ya know?).

Not sure what else to say.. There’s always so many interesting things, but usually only to ME.. heh heh… So I don’t know to post them here..
